The NYU Environmental Law Journal held its annual symposium on October 20, 2016 in Sexton Lounge. This event was entitled “Prosecuting International Wildlife Trafficking.”
This year’s topics included New York City’s historic Midtown ivory bust, an ongoing federal investigation of rhinoceros horn and elephant ivory trafficking, President Obama’s Executive Order to combat wildlife trafficking, and on-the-ground efforts to combat poaching in Africa.
